Stripped back but sultry is a new way to play this February 14th. Modeled on the likes of Alicia Vikander, a golden taupe cream eye shadow dabbed onto the top lid and lower lashes and framed with a black pencil three quarters of the way along the top lash line makes for an eye look that gives just enough shine without looking too OTT.  Finish off with lashings of mascara and a nude lip, this fresh faced look turns heads without the need for red!

Channel Bridget Bardot. Black eyeliner and an easy half-up style makes for the ultimate sexpot look! Trace your top lashes with black liner, flicking the line up ever so slightly once you get to the outer corner, not skipping the bottom lashes. A shimmery nude eye shadow, cream or powder, can then be blended over the lid and up over the brow bone, finishing off with lashes of mascara. Team with fresh skin and a dab of blusher and add a slick of sheer nude gloss to create the illusion of fuller lips.

It’s a known fact that when two people fall in love it may well have to do with scent. And the sales records are there to show that love doesn’t go only through one’s stomach, but also through one’s nose. The business sector of body care and beauty products alone can boast with turnover of approximately 62.46 billion U.S. dollars every year, and that only in the United States. Perfume is the queen of all gifts. However, in order to choose the best scent for your beloved, you should always consider their personality and style. Fresh scent creations are better suited for athletic personalities, while subtle, flowery scents are often a wonderful fit for romantic-playful types.

You can never go wrong with the classic reds on Valentine’s day. Teaming lips and nails makes for an alluring and co-ordinated look that will go with almost any outfit. To avoid makeup overkill, opt for a fresh face and just a slick of eyeliner to compliment your lip look.
