I love to search for items at the dollar store or dollar bins to use for crafting. Believe it or not there is a lot that you can do with a pair of socks including making these darling sock pumpkins! This is a great craft project to make with your kids, family or friends to create fun Halloween decor for your home. And you don’t have to spend a lot of money either! I always find seasonal socks at stores in the dollar bins and you can too!

Step Three: Turn right side out and place your pumpkin inside. Pull the sock up tightly around the stem and use a few pipe cleaners to tightly secure your sock. I usually build the stem with pipe cleaners and add some curves for whimsy. Use your felt square to cut out a simple leaf and use a small piece of pipe cleaner to attach it to your pumpkin stem. That’s it! Enjoy this fun and simple sock pumpkin decor.

Candles are an important design element used with Halloween decor to help set the spooky tone for a spooktacular night. I love to scatter candles throughout my home and in my garden to achieve the perfect mood lighting. Here’s a fun project to create your own spooky spider candle holders. They will look great sprinkled throughout your home, as a display on your front porch or to use as individual table place setting candles for an event or for a Halloween meal. They are super simple and cost less than three dollars to make!

When your spider legs are in place insert your candle in the center and you are ready to enjoy this spookdorable candle holder! It’s that simple! These darling pumpkin spiders also make a great place setting card holder.

Decorating pumpkins each year is something the whole family looks forward to, but let’s face it, Mom or Dad does most of the work because sharp objects, such as a carving knife, are not exactly made for kids. That’s why you will fall in love with the Spritz Pumpkin Craft Kits! Now you can put the craft paint and supplies out on the table and your kids can decorate their very own pumpkin with ease! This is also a great craft activity idea for a school or birthday party to keep the kids busy. Each kit comes complete with all of the self-adhesive supplies that you need to decorate your pumpkin. The best part is the price-$3.00 for the simple kits such as a bat, witch, fox, owl or cat and $5.00 for a few of the more elaborate decorative design kits which are perfect for adults. Now, head to the pumpkin patch in search of the perfect pumpkin to use with your Spritz Pumpkin Craft Kit! With your Spritz Pumpkin Craft Kit, you could also order some custom acrylic rods for your next crazy idea for Halloween!”

Supplies used in these projects were purchased from Michaels Craft Stores and Target.
