TALKING FASHION WITH KRISTINA KARO

maxresdefault-2

Coming to America can be a huge adjustment to some people, but not rising Internet sensation Kristina Karo! The Ukraine-born Give Me Green Card singer has taken over the Internet with her unique lyrics and fashion sense, and we here at It’s A Glam Thing got to sit down with her to find out what makes her so glamorous!

How would you describe your style?

Sexy, innovative and revolutionary. Never boring, always amazing. I believe it is I who wears the clothes and not clothess wear me and I only wear what I like and what suit me and is comfortable for me – it so happens to be that most of time I am a trend setter, never the follower.

What fashion trends do you see happening that you dislike?

I see a lot women wearing mens clothing these days, like suits, I do not appreciate it. I believe a woman should always be a woman – feminine and hot.

What makes your style different than others?

I believe my character is what make me most interesting no matter what I wear. Someone can copy my style but they cannot copy the way I carry myself.

Which other people do you admire in terms of their style and fashion choices?

I always admired Joan Rivers, she was an inspiration both as fashion icon and a woman. Always looked amazing and never apologized for being herself.

Who picked out your outfits for your Give Me Green Card music video?

I did. I am my own stylist and muse. It was important for me to stress further and express my huge love for everything America is, especially the American flag. I chose the flag bikini and a pink cowboy hat with gold cowboy boots because I love cowboys. They’re most American culture since before McDonalds.
