I was quite thrilled when given the opportunity to try Nioxin. My hair is fine, wavy, and for as long as I can remember I’ve always tried products to achieve more volume in my hair. NIOXIN REJUVENATING ELIXIR
NIOXIN REJUVENATING ELIXIR is a great product to repair hair that has been “color treated” or is “damaged or dry”! Apply and leave in your hair after you’ve shampooed. While your hair is still damp take a small amount of the product and work it “evenly” throughout your hair. ELIXIR, conditions and gives support to the “hair shaft”, protecting and helping damaged hair. It’s very light weight, and helped diminish the dull, dry appearance of my hair.
NIOXIN VOLUMIZING REFLECTIVES™
NIOXIN VOLUMIZING REFLECTIVES™ is the product that really got my attention. This product will help strengthen your “hair shaft“, and NOT cause a product buildup on your scalp OR hair. Most impressive to me is that it’s alcohol free!
In the past, I think I used too much product on my hair thinking that it would give me more volume. Fact being, I now realize that I was actually weighing down my hair and defeating my purpose. Nioxin offers a “lighter consistency product” that seems to work throughout the “hair shaft” and not just sit on top of the hair.
NIOXIN THERM ACTIV PROTECTOR
NIOXIN THERM ACTIV PROTECTOR is a spray with “Lightplex” that addressed some of the things I was looking for to help with my dry hair, and get some body as well! It gave a nice shine to my hair, and I used it to shape and hold my waves in place to achieve a soft finished look to my hair. It’s suggested that you use it on medium to course hair. For me, I had no problem using it on my fine hair!
I just had to share Nioxin with my brother, Robb, who also has a wave to his hair, but has had challenges with thinning hair in his crown area. After trying the products, here is what he had to say:
