Lizzie post is an in-demand source of modern etiquette advice for media through out the country. I had the pleasure of speaking to Lizzie about Wedding Etiquette and how it’s changing in the modern world. In celebration of winter Olympic games in Russia, Mario and Sochi

Taking players to Sochi, Russia, Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games invites players of all abilities and ages to team up or face off as their favorite characters in the new Wii U game, which re-creates realistic Olympic events such as curling, skiing, figure skating and snowboard slopestyle. Players also can perform moves not possible in real life, such as the Winter Sports Champion Race, a mixed event that combines skiing, snowboarding, skating and bobsleigh in a single event.

I had the absolute pleasure of interviewing the delightful Ms Anderson.  She is as humble as she is talented. Jamie Anderson is a professional snowboard slopestyle competitor, six-time X Games medalist and Olympic hopeful. As a spokeswoman for Nintendo, Jamie Anderson introduces Wii U fans to Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games and discusses her journey to the Olympics and what it means to have snowboard slopestyle recognized as an Olympic sport for the first time in 2014.

Last night, the 47th Country Music Awards brought out country music’s brightest stars in Nashville, Tennessee. While everyone was dressed to the nines, we couldn’t keep our eyes off of the gorgeous locks flowing down the red carpet and performing on stage. From Carrie Underwood’s side swept voluminous waves to Kacey Musgraves’ delicate side pony to Taylor Swift’s perfectly placed up-do, these country darlings completely stole the show.

Get the Look:

 

1. Lightly mist COLOUR FANATIC multi-tasking hair beautifier on damp hair for shine and heat protection.
2. Apply ROOTLIFT spray hair mousse at the base and SILK BODIFIER volumizing mousse to the mid shaft and ends.
3. Blow dry with medium round brush for volume and curl.
4. Secure each section into medium barrel curls with clips and allow to cool for 10 minutes.
5. Drop curls and brush with soft bristle brush. Finish with STRENGTHENING CONTROL zero-dulling hairspray for hold and brilliant shine.

Get the Look:
1. On damp hair apply 2 pumps of HIGHLIGHT STYLIST BODIFYING LUMINATOR texturizing shine foam and a dime size amount of CUTICLE POLISHER shine serum. 2. Blow dry directing the hair back away from face. Leaving out the bangs to fall forward.
3. Mist hair with STRENGTHENING CONTROL zero-dulling hairspray and lightly tease at the crown.
4. Hold lengths of hair at the base of the neck and secure a row of pins
5. Wrap hair into pin curls and secure along the previously placed pins.
6. Finish with SUPREME CONTROL maximum hold zero-dulling hairspray for long lasting hold and shine

1. Mist HIGHLIGHT STYLIST SEA-KISSED TEXTURIZER salt-free tousle mist on dry hair. 2. Braid hair into 4-6 sections to create texture.
3. Once hair is dry, release braids and use fingers to shake out the texture.
4. Use FRESH APPROACH DRY SHAMPOO on the roots and lightly tease at the crown.
5. Gather hair to a low side pony and secure with an elastic.
6. Wrap a small amount hair around pony to hide elastic and pin underneath.
7. Finish with FRESH APPROACH DRY CONDITIONER for amazing shine and smoothness.

Get The Look: Jessica Biel at the Museum of Modern Art Film Benefit

John Frieda International Creative Consultant Harry Josh gave Jessica Biel super-sleek, shiny hair for the Museum of Modern Art Film Benefit last night benefitting Tilda Swinton. The simple, smooth hair, parted in the center, complimented the actress’ white gown, which was adorned with chains across the shoulders and neckline.

Get Your Hair Ready and Set with REDKEN!

I recently received some Redken hair products for review and I couldn’t be happier because Redkin is one of my favorite hair care products. Redken Satinwear 02 Prepping Blow Dry Lotion actually left a “satiny” feel to my hair  after using it.  I have thought, at times, that the constant blow drying of my hair may not be good for it and have blamed the occasional coarseness I’ve felt on the drying process.  I normally have a soft, baby fine hair so when it feels coarse, it feels strange to me.  This product is easy to use and I didn’t have to use a lot to notice a big difference in the look and feel of my hair.  It was easy and fun to apply as with a few swipes it spread smoothly through my damp hair.    I proceeded to blow dry my hair in the usual way and found that it had a soft, non frizzy, smooth finish when I was done.  Styling was a cinch since It was more manageable with the feel of more body.  I like the way it applies, looks and feels.  Nice smell and it dries fast!  Good product!
