Pureology’s Gold Definer is an amazing product that gives blondes the lift, hold and shine that it needs. After using this product my hair comes out wavy and weightless; it gives me the perfect beachy waves without being sticky or frizzy. It works great for people like me with thick hair as well as people with thin hair. I feel like I get better results when I use it with dry hair; however, it works fine with wet hair too. This is a great product to use before I blow out my hair; my hair comes out beautiful every time. If you use this with the Gold Definer and the Bodifying Illuminator, it will give your hair the ultimate boost. It gives my already curly hair a tamed beachy look with some of the salt spray while still keeping my hair hydrated.
The Bodifying illuminator is more like a mousse for people with highlighted hair. Because my hair is already curly I don’t use mousse regularly; however, it is a lightweight formula that adds body and lasts throughout the day. It creates a lot of great body and gave my hair a multi-dimensional shine. This is another product that you only need a small amount to be effective; too much might create your hair to become somewhat straw-like. It is a great product for frizz control. It is best used by dispensing a small amount into your palms and apply to damp hair before blow drying. This is another lightweight product that does not feel greasy to the touch at all and is perfect if you want more curls in your hair.
