Shoes have always been featured as a girl’s best friend…….. Cinderella’s glass slipper and Carrie, a New York girl, obsessed with shoes in Sex and the City were a few of my favorites. Always remember the right pair of shoes can make a wrong situation more tolerable. For example….. while attending my niece’s wedding wearing my Christian Louboutin shoes, I left the ladies room not knowing I was dragging a foot long piece of toilet paper. Walking across the dance floor while everyone was seated enjoying their meal, a complete stranger approached me informing me of my third leg. I was totally embarrassed. Then there was the stare at my feet and the conversation quickly changed as she complimented my shoes! She loved them and another woman drifted into the discussion.
