Wine connoisseurs and amateurs alike gathered in Providence Rhode Island on January 23rd to mingle, talk about their favorite wines and taste, taste, taste! I met local entrepreneur and founder of Designs By Lolita, Lolita Healy, as she introduced guests to her brand new label wines and sparkling rose at Gasbarro’s Wines on Federal Hill.
Three fabulous wines were available for sampling, “Ravishing Red”, “Whitty White”, and of course my favorite, “Winter Sparkling”. I was thrilled to purchase a bottle of “Winter Sparkling” and Lolita herself autograph it. Lolita is a beautiful lady with a sparkling personality, it was a delight meeting her. Not only were “Wines by Lolita” available at special pricing, but her beautiful limited edition hand painted champagne flutes were also available that evening for purchase.
Local chef Kaitlyn Rogers, of Easy Entertaining Inc. served up tasty hors d’oeurves throughout the evening. Guests also had the opportunity to meet and chat with the Italian maker, Claudio Quarta of Magistravini Vineyard in Italy, as well as Lolita herself.
